My homelab setup currently consists of:
- An x86 Ryzen server ("redstone")
- Raspberry Pi 4 (Home Assistant)
- A TP-Link 5-port gigabit switch (TL-SG105S)
- Lenovo ThinkVision (1440x900)
- Raspberry Pi keyboard + mouse
This is my primary server which runs a lot of my non-"production critical" services, as of writing this there are about 70 Docker containers and other processes running roughly 30 to 40 services.
A lot of components in this server were re-purposed from my computer when it came to upgrade it.
|Operating System||Ubuntu 22.04 LTS|
|CPU||AMD Ryzen 3 1300X (4) @ 3.5 GHz|
|GPU||NVIDIA GeForce GTX 1050 Ti|
|Memory||32gb Corsair Vengeance @ 3200 MHz|
When the server was originally built, I put it in a cardboard box, these days it's in metal desk drawers held together by cardboard, lego and blu tack. I've looked at different case offerings online but haven't found anything I want yet.
Below are pictures of the individual layers of the server.
